A have a fantastic opening for an enthusiastic Band 3 Therapy Technical Instructor to join the Therapy Team based at University Hospital Southampton. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within the specialist area of Medicine where the candidate would work with a wide variety of patient groups across the acute wards. They would work alongside trained occupational therapists and physiotherapists, as well as other therapy assistants in helping facilitate the patient journey from admission to discharge.  This post offers the potential for the development of skills that cross both physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as well as further enhancement of core skills such as communication, team working and caseload management.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is eager to learn and engage in all aspects of patient rehabilitation and care. This role requires you to be physically fit and active and able to physically carry, handle and fit adaptive equipment and manoeuvre patients. Therapy Services run a 7-day flexible working service so you need to be able to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
