We have pioneered ground-breaking practice, and have the commitment and drive continue to develop a world class Respiratory, NIV Service.  The Respiratory Department is a demanding environment, constantly modernising to deliver high quality services within current healthcare demands, however in return it does provide an exciting opportunity for personal challenges and development.

We are currently looking to recruit a Band 3 NIV Administration Team Clerk, who is committed to continuous professional development, possess excellent communication skills, and the passion to deliver to the highest standard.

You will work within dedicated specialty clinical area to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.  The post holder will work closely with the specialist nursing team; ensuring activity is correctly recorded so that income is not at risk.

**Training on NHS systems and processes will be provided**

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, enjoy working in a team and have a desire to provide a first class service for patients and clinical teams.

The post holders will be required to work Monday – Sunday between the hours of 8am and 8pm (usual hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday but you may be required to work an evening or weekend with prior notice)

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
