Post Title – 2 Locum Consultant in Paediatric Neurology
Start Date of Post – January 2018
Contract Length –Fixed Term for 6 months

Online applications are invited for two full time Locum posts as Consultant in Paediatric Neurology, from January 2018 for six months initially. One post is to cover the maternity leave of an existing postholder, but it is possible the other post will become substantive.

The appointee will join the six consultants in post in providing a comprehensive specialist service to the Central South Coast region of England supported by the many other on-site services for children in Southampton General Hospital and the Wessex Neuroscience Centre. The post include interests in complex motor disorders and in neuro-oncology.

The Trust is a major teaching centre for the University of Southampton, offering opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and excellent facilities for research and clinical care. Applicants should have a CCT in Paediatric Neurology or be on the GMC’s Specialist Register.
