An exciting opportunity has arisen with the surgical care group for a patient pathway coordinator.  The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration service as part of a team.  This is a very busy role and we are therefore looking for someone enthusiastic and excited to take on a new challenge. In return this post offers excellent development opportunities.

You will work within the surgery speciality to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first class service for patients and clinical teams.

Informal visits are highly recommended.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
