The paediatric dietetic team are progressing towards a rotational working pattern for the Band 6 posts within the team.  Initially this will incorporate Allergy, Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes and General paediatric dietetics but additional specialities are expected to be added into the program. The rotations will last for approximately 12-18 months which will cover both in and outpatient work.

Consequently we are able to offer a full term permanent role for an enthusiastic dietitian to join this rotation program starting firstly in Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis & Paediatric Diabetes.

  • This is an exciting role allowing the post holder to work across Child Health, providing nutrition support to in- and outpatients with cystic fibrosis and diabetes.
  • Effective caseload management, organisational skills and time-management skills are essential, alongside evidence of good team working and communication skills.
  • Demonstration of initiative and ability to work independently is also required.

If you would like to build your paediatric experience in a busy, acute children’s hospital; we would welcome your application. For an informal visit to the department and hospital please contact Kate Grimshaw (kate.grimshaw@uhs.nhs.uk)
