An excellent career opportunity has arisen to become a key senior member of Complete Fertility Centre in the Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton, UK. We are seeking to add a talented and experienced Band 8a Deputy Fertility Laboratory Manager to our team. 

As an HCPC registered ICSI practitioner, with leadership experience, the successful candidate will assist the lab manager in the smooth operational running of the clinic, and provide an excellent and professional service to patients.  The post holder will also participate in the on call and weekend rota.

Our superb laboratory facilities have the capacity for up to 1000 cycles of IVF/ICSI and oocyte vitrification per annum.  In addition, each year, we perform over 2000 diagnostic semen analyses, IUIs, sperm freezing and run a large donor bank which involves recruiting our own donors.  The clinic has well established academic links to the University of Southampton and hence we offer this person the opportunity to be directly involved with novel and innovative research, including multi-centre RCTs.

Candidates should be highly motivated to lead others in the pursuit of excellence and have an in depth knowledge of the HFEA Code of Practice & EUTCD regulations.

Salary: Band 8a (commensurate with experience)
