An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic individual to work in our very busy Cancer Care Day Units (C3/C7) at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to offer assistance in this fast paced department; be reliable, highly organised and able to work under their own initiative.    You must also be able to demonstrate experience of team working and the ability to work to deadlines and you must have well established IT skills.

Previous NHS experience is an advantage and you must have a strong desire to provide the best service for our patients. Previous experience in a customer service and/or booking and scheduling role would be an advantage

You will be working in a very busy department with a dedicated team of staff to ensure the smooth running of the patient pathway experience.  Ability to manage and prioritise workload is an essential requirement of this post. Attention to detail is also a key attribute for this post.

Full training will be given on all IT systems required for this role.
